Bromley Mountain
Bromley is known as “Vermont’s Sun Mountain.” It is the only southward facing ski resort in all of Vermont. During winter, when the sun is low in the sky, it is crucial to get every bit of daylight you can and Bromley gets the most of it.
I was hired at Bromley in November of 2018 as a seasonal snow reporter and content creator. My duties involved being on the mountain at 6am to take the snow and weather readings and turn those into a written conditions report. I sent the reports over multiple channels such as emails, internal and external websites, and over social media. I would then make the rounds to the staff with physical reports. From 8 am onward I would be creating content for our social media channels and managing said channels.
