Kristin Sundquist (she/her) was born in St. Paul Minnesota and spent her early years creating stop-motion animations, and skateboarding films. In 2016, she graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design with a degree in Entrepreneurial Studies (BSC) and a focus in Filmmaking. Artistically, Kristin is a documentarian, "real people and real places are often stranger and more dynamic than fiction." She prefers wide still shots so the audience may see the beauty in everything and let their eye wander. Kristin’s influences include slow cinema, Werner Herzog, David Lynch and Andrei Tarkovski. Since graduating in 2016 Kristin has been a freelance videographer and in-house content creator for several companies. After moving to Vermont in the summer of 2018 she began working at Bromley Mountain, a ski resort in Southern Vermont, as a content creator and social media manager. In 2020 she started working at OVRLND.studio as a lead video editor and production assistant. Since 2020 Kristin has worked on a variety of medium to long-form sports documentary projects and short advertisement media. She has developed a fast, eye-catching editing style to capture the attention of viewers.
